Traveling by motorcycle allows you to experience the trip in ways not possible with a car, truck or SUV. On a motorcycle you’re part of the environment, not a spectator peering out of a 4-wheeled box. You have an unsurpassed view of the scenery, feel it grow cooler as the road takes you from bright sunlight through a canopy of trees, smell flowers, cut grass and native aromas, and of course you connect with the road in a manner that can only be experienced on 2 wheels. Touring by motorcycle is a veritable feast for the senses, and there are several ways to indulge - with a full-dress touring bike, a sport tourer, or an adventure tourer. But no matter where your travels take you or which type of machine you own, you can count on us for all your parts & accessories needs.

Traditional full-dress tourers like the Harley-Davidson Electra Glide and Honda Gold Wing have large fairings, adjustable windshields, ample luggage and creature comforts like stereo sound and plush heated seats. They’re ideal for gobbling up the miles 2-up on the open highway, but if you’d like to include more challenging roads in your itinerary consider a sport tourer. As exemplified by the long running BMW RS series bikes and the Kawasaki Concours, sport tourers combine twisty road prowess with long distance comfort and capabilities. Adventure tourers are for riders who don’t think the journey should be over just because the pavement ends. Bikes like the BMW GS and Honda Africa Twin perform well on extended street journeys but also feature high ground clearance, skid plates, and dirt-worthy tires for exploring unimproved roads and trails.

No rider likes to experience motorcycle mechanical problems, but they’re especially daunting when you’re traveling and the breakdown occurs hundreds of miles from home. Regular preventive maintenance is the best way to avoid such calamities and we have everything you need for the job including premium motor oils, coolant, and brake fluid for topping off and changes; lubricants for cables and chains; suspension oils in various weights for changes and fork and shock tuning; air and oil filters; spark plugs; and much more. Along with consumables we have the tools and equipment you’ll need for every maintenance session including tire pressure gauges, fluid drain pans, oil filter wrenches, spark plug sockets and gappers, cable lube adapters, floor wheel chocks to keep the bike upright, and stands and lifts to get the wheels off the ground. Plus, we have parts for major and minor repairs, special tools for engines, transmission, clutches, and drivelines, and if you need some service guidance we have model specific repair manuals with easy to follow, step-by-step maintenance, repair, and diagnostic procedures, and detailed illustrations and photographs.

Along with helping you make sure your bike is mechanically prepared we have all the gear you need to get properly outfitted for road trips. Whether you’re equipping an adventure tourer or sport tourer from scratch or you want to supplement your dresser’s cargo capacity, you’ll find what you’re looking for in our extensive selection of luggage. We have hard cases and soft saddlebags, luggage mounts and saddlebag liners, tour packs that incorporate a passenger backrest, top cases, tail bags, luggage racks, tank bags, windshield bags, and cargo nets, straps, and bungee cords. Many tank bags are expandable to carry plenty of gear, have shoulder straps, and make convenient places to stash a cell phone, map, coins, etc. However, if you want to take so much gear it’s impossible to get it all on the bike, consider towing a trailer. If you think that’s the answer to your cargo space dilemma, we have both ball mount and receiver hitches as well as easy to install trailer wiring harnesses.

You’ll have no problems getting to your destination if you’re equipped with a motorcycle GPS. Our units are durable and waterproof, with easy to read, glove-friendly displays. Many have lifetime map updates and provide information on restaurants, gas stations, and points of interest, and with some you can customize the route to your destination to experience twisty roads, changes in elevation, and/or the best scenery. We offer Bluetooth headsets that can be wirelessly connected to smartphones, iPods, MP3 players, and GPS units. These include microphone, speakers, and a control module that can be easily operated with gloves, so you can make calls, listen to music, and get spoken directions from the GPS. Some Bluetooth units can be paired with a number of other headsets, enabling communication with a passenger and other riders within a certain range. We also have headsets and cords designed to plug into factory audio systems, so you can listen to music and easily communicate with a passenger. All our headsets are designed for easy installation on a variety of helmet styles including full face, modular, and open face.

Listening to tunes with helmet speakers may do for some, but if you’d rather rock out the traditional way through your tourer’s external bike-mounted speakers, we have what you need to upgrade your bike to premium sound. Our installation kits make it easy to mount aftermarket receivers in place of original equipment units. They come with harnesses to make wiring painless and the trim plates and bezels that create a factory-like appearance. Or if you’d rather get maximum highway performance that’s compatible with your factory audio system we offer powerful, full range, class D 2-channel and 4-channel amplifiers, including digital units that draw less current. These are bike specific units that include custom mounting brackets and plug-n-play wiring harnesses. Plus, we have model specific speaker upgrade kits and complete amplifier/speaker kits.

You can increase your safety on the road by upgrading your tourer’s lighting with LEDs. We have LED headlights, LED headlight conversion kits, LED driving, fog, and auxiliary lights, and LED tail lights. In addition to being brighter LEDs last longer, draw less current, and are vibration resistant. Good tires are also crucial for riding safety. We offer tires for dressers that can handle the load of 2-up riding on a heavy bike with luggage, with long wearing rubber compound and tread designed to deliver good performance on wet and dry roads. If you want to get the most out of your sport tourer consider dual compound, or multi-compound tires. These have harder rubber compound and water evacuating sipes in the center of the tire that gets the most use, and softer compound rubber and fewer or no sipes at the tire’s edges for aggressive cornering. Choose adventure tourer ties based on where you ride most often. If you spend equal time on dirt and street there are 50/50 dual sport tires that closely resemble dirt bike tires, but if you do mostly street riding, 80/20 tires with their street-oriented tread are a better choice.

When preparing for an extended tour the gear you’re wearing is just as important. We have the riding gear that will keep you comfortable and protected, including well-ventilated full face, modular, and open face helmets with features like internal retractable sun visors and removeable liners, and abrasion resistant jackets, pants, and one and two-piece riding suits in traditional leather and water-resistant textile. Many of these garments include removable CE rated armor for shoulder, elbow, and back protection. Boots are body armor for your feet, and they provide support and stability as well as protection. Our gloves have padding or armor at the palm and knuckles for impact protection and abrasion resistant leather or textile material to protect your skin. We offer gear to keep you warm in cooler weather including balaclavas and heated jacket liners and gloves; mesh and ventilated gear for hot summer riding; and one and two-piece rain suits so you can keep going in any kind of weather.
