The touring or adventure bike that’s standing parked next to your house can take you to many new places. Your bike’s engine is what propels it forward, and its performance is determined, among other things, by the mixture of fuel and air. Oxygen plays a crucial role when it comes to internal combustion, being mixed with gasoline at a 14:1 ratio. The stream that enters the combustion chambers first needs to be cleaned from various debris and particles such as sand, dust, and so on. That’s what your motorcycle’s air filter is in charge of.
After considerable mileage, the filter gets clogged. When this happens, the engine doesn’t get the amount of oxygen it requires for optimal operation and the air-fuel ratio gets affected.
