aFe makes a revolution with its innovative air filters. Designed with breakthrough technology and made of pliable urethane with a bump seal for leak-free operation, these air filters surpass factory counterparts. The company offers the Pro 5R and Pro Guard 7 air filter media. The first one is the 5-layer extremely fine mesh cotton gauze material that boosts airflow and thus filtration properties. The latter one is the 7-layer media that combines the Pro 5R filter media with 2 extra synthetic media layers. aFe air filters also feature deeper, rounder pleats providing more filtering area than other available cotton gauze or foam filters.
The company designs and crafts the ground-breaking cold air intake system as well. This system will replace your OEM air filter and airbox with one of first-rate aFe air filters and a monoblock open element airbox/heat shield that is retained against the hood, shielding the filter from high engine temperatures. All this enables cooler, denser air that contains more oxygen; and more oxygen in your engine's air intake charge means higher combustion efficiency, resulting in greater engine output.
