Long Lasting

Arcon® LEDs last up to 50 times longer than incandescent bulbs, and more than 10 times longer the compact fluorescent bulbs. This is largely due to the fact that there is no filament, but instead groups of diodes, which don't "burn out".

LEDs are Tough

Since LEDs do not have a filament, they are not damaged under circumstances where a regular incandescent bulb would be broken. Because they are solid, LED bulbs hold up well to jarring and bumping.

LED Is Cooler

Arcon® LED bulbs do not cause heat build-up; LEDs produce 3.4 btu's/hour, compared to 85 for incandescent bulbs. Common incandescent bulbs get hot and contribute to heat build-up in a room. LEDs reduce this heat build-up, thereby helping to reduce air conditioning costs in the RV.

More Usable Light

Arcon® LEDs produce 90% downward light as compared to an incandescent bulbs 60%. This is due to the fact the LEDs are directional in design rather than spherical, allowing light to be more precisely reflected out of the bulb, with less dispersion.

LED Is Cleaner

There is no mercury used in the manufacturing of Arcon® LEDs. That means safer manufacturing and cleaner landfill disposal. In addition, since they produce significantly less heat, energy used to cool the space is conserved.
