Big Sucker™ Stage I Smooth Air Cleaner Kit by Arlen Ness®. A.R.B Compliant: ARB E.O. D-639-7. Stage I Big Sucker™ air cleaner kit equipped with Arlen Ness Smooth custom outer cover for an exposed intake setup with clean style. The Smooth cover is formed from high quality, stamped with the Arlen Ness logo and brushed for a handcrafted finish. These kits are a great choice bikes running stainless exhaust and other hand finished accessories. The Big Sucker kits are designed to be used with the stock outer air filter cover or an Arlen Ness custom outer cover. Kits labeled O.E.M. cover will only accept stock air cleaner covers.

Big Sucker™ Stage I Air Cleaner, Twin Cam/Sportster/Evo:
Engineered and proven to give your engine maximum airflow for more horsepower & torque
One-piece aluminum backing plate features Arlen Ness patented hidden breather technology, each breather is o-ringed at the heads and exits at the mouth of the throttle body eliminating the need for any external hoses or hardware for efficient engine breathing
Each backing plate contains a smooth radius air inlet to direct unobstructed airflow into the engine
Performance air filters are available in red pre-oiled cotton & synthetic filter elements
Standard performance filters are constructed from red pre-oiled cotton and are washable/re-useable
Synthetic performance filters are constructed from black synthetic filter element that is wrapped in a stainless steel jacket. Washable/re-usable, do not require oil and are water resistant which in most cases eliminates the need for a rain sock
Each Stage I kit includes one-piece aluminum backing plate, performance filter, gaskets, necessary hardware, and Smooth Stage I Cover

The new aluminum filter top plate has integrated filter mounting studs for increased durability while eliminating the need for additional filter mounting hardware and a steel filter plate
High performance filters are made from black pre-oiled cotton for the best in airflow and filtration. Filter are washable and re-usable
