Each Stage II one-piece aluminum backing plate features Arlen Ness patented hidden breather technology and radius air inlet for maximum performance. Stage II kits accept Arlen Ness custom covers. Performance air filters available in Standard red pre-oiled cotton or Synthetic black stainless steel jacketed filter elements. Standard performance filters are constructed from red pre-oiled cotton and are washable/re-useable, filter re-charge kits available separately. Synthetic performance filters are constructed from black synthetic filter element that is wrapped in a stainless steel jacket. Synthetic filters are washable/re-usable, do not require oil and are water resistant which in most cases eliminates the need for a rain sock. Each kit includes backing plate, performance air filter, gaskets, breathers and all other necessary hardware.
