Inverted Series 10-Gauge Air Cleaner Kit by Arlen Ness®. A.R.B Compliant: ARB E.O. D-639-7. The 10-Gauge Inverted Series air cleaner combines the patented Big Sucker™ technology and an inverted filter top that maximizes airflow by pulling in air from the face of the air cleaner, as well as the traditional method of pulling air from the sides. Each kit is machined entirely from forged billet aluminum to provide the best performance and style.
Installation
The ultimate combination of performance and design for your V-Twin engine. Each handmade air filter is made in the USA and features an inverted pleated top with pleated sides to maximize airflow. Pre-oiled black filter element is encapsulated in a stainless steel jacket for the ultimate in style and durability. Forged air filter housings feature built in velocity stacks that scream performance and enhance looks. Forged billet backing plate features a proven radius inlet, hidden breather hardware and industry leading Big Sucker patented technology.
FORGED BILLET ALUMINUM BACKING PLATE:
Constructed from forged billet aluminum
Features the patented Big Sucker™ hidden breather technology. Each hidden breather is o-ringed at the heads and exits at the mouth of the injector/ carb to provide efficient engine breathing and a virtually closed loop system. This eliminates the need for any external hoses or hardware
Radius air inlet provides maximum performance by providing unobstructed airflow
Aluminum breather hardware includes specially designed breather bolts and covers for clean mounting
New patent-pending hidden breather backing plate technology for M8 engines. Each breather is o-ringed at the heads, passes through the backing plate and exits inside the mouth of the throttle body through proprietary breather tubes
Breathing system eliminates oil issues associated with M8 engines by directing any excess breather oil back into the engine. To ensure no oil saturates the filter and restricts your airflow, Arlen Ness also integrated a new patent-pending oil catch that can be serviced when you service the filter element.
