The roots of the Biker’s Choice company can be traced back to 1971 when a savvy businessman and avid biker Larry Cupola saw the need for a reliable source for Harley-Davidson parts and accessories on the east coast. He started NEMPCO (New England Motor Parts Company) in the outskirts of Boston in Dedham, Massachusetts in a small basement facility before moving the business to Foxborough in 1976. Larry achieved success by following a simple philosophy of hiring people who love motorcycles and know exactly what Harley-Davidson riders want.

The growing company started adding a commercial tagline to its name: Nempco – The Biker’s Choice in 1984, which defined further development of the brand. At the time, the company was mostly focusing on the quality of the product rather than quantity. One of the largest distributors of motorcycle parts, Tucker Rocky saw great potential in Nempco and purchased it in 1992. It opened great possibilities for expansion and development of new product lines that now could reach end users throughout the whole country. The company was officially renamed Biker’s Choice in 1998 to reflect exactly what their products are all about.
