Once Performance Machine products have been treated to anodize, Performance Machine take it one step further to achieve the boldness of the Contrast Cut finish. An anodized blank has its' contrasting accents machined away, accentuating the details of the wheel design and exposing the raw aluminum underneath. The Contrast Cut finish leaves the exposed aluminum in the raw machined state. Whether your stock shift rod is the 1st thing you want to switch out for a custom rod, or if it's the last part left to customize on your bike - it's not a bad idea to make this part of your motorcycle look cool.
