Cycra Racing Plastics & Handguards

Cycra is one of the world's most trusted brands in motorcycle plastics and accessories. Cycra plastics are supplied to OEMs and factory race teams, and these are the same parts that the company trickles down to retail customers, recreational riders and motorcycle enthusiasts. Its products deliver an impressive mix of style and performance, so they not only work great but look great as well. All of the company's off-road racing parts are made in the U.S.A. and extensively tested in real-world conditions.

Cycra was founded by the Laivins brothers, Glen and Ken, who are passionate about motorcycle riding, racing, and building. What began as a design studio in Columbus, Ohio back in 1997 has evolved into a 57,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility where all of the processes take place, from start to finish. That's the only way to fully control the quality of everything from Cycra skid plates to handguards and fenders, making sure they all are precisely fabricated, perform to the highest standards, and look flawless. The plant is based in Thomasville, North Carolina and has all necessary equipment for in-house production.

The company's extensive manufacturing capabilities include plastic thermoforming, injection molding, CNC machining, and painting, all of which allow for building products under one roof. It is staffed with motocross riders and people who love building bikes and know how to do it the right way. The result is a lineup of quality and durable products that help racers win MX and off-road championships. Cycra handguards are arguably synonymous with motorcycle handguards in general. They have a trademark Cycra ProBend shape and are packed with features that provide reliable protection and secure mounting. The Power Flow body kit is a common upgrade option, designed to improve airflow that cools down the radiator, engine, and fuel tank.
