It is HJC’s continual goal to provide high quality, comfortable, and reasonably priced helmets to motorcyclists around the world. As a direct result of this mission, since 1992, HJC has succeeded in maintaining the status as the #1 helmet brand in North America (refer to Motorcycle Industry Magazine 1992-present). More importantly, motorcyclists worldwide make HJC their brand of choice. And with a wide selection of helmets in the mid to high-end range, HJC has expanded consumers’ choice in helmets.
Since 1971, HJC has specialized in manufacturing motorcycle helmets exclusively.
The combination of this extensive specialized manufacturing experience, innovative ideas, and reasonable pricing resulted in HJC’s success in worldwide markets. In the modern era of helmet manufacturing, HJC is proud to say that company helmets are constantly tested in both laboratory testing as well as in “real” life circumstances for quality assurance.
HJC is only one of very few helmet companies that are equipped with its own state of the art wind tunnel testing laboratory to test for aerodynamics, ventilation, noise, etc. Further, HJC has two helmet factories in two different countries: Korea and Vietnam. These factories provide strategic venues to produce high end, mid, and entry-level products to satisfy the demands of consumers around the world.
In 2016, HJC became the first helmet company to title sponsor a MotoGP race event. In partnership with Dorna, HJC has sponsored the 2016 Grand Prix Ceske Republiky, the 2017 Grand Prix de France, and the 2018 Grand Prix de France at Le Mans.
In 2019 and 2020, HJC will continue to support the highest level of motorcycle racing with the HJC Helmets Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland. HJC’s professional athlete roster includes MotoGP riders Cal Crutchlow and Andrea Iannone, as well as a number of up and coming Moto2 and Moto3 racers.
HJC is also a supporter of professional racing in the USA, with sponsored MotoAmerica Superbike riders Tonie Elias and Garrett Gerloff. In additional to road racing, HJC sponsors FMX rider and X-Games Gold Medalist Nate Adams, who wears the new HJC i50 off-road helmet.
In the fall of 2012, HJC expanded its range with the introduction of RPHA, a series of premium helmets that feature Premium Integrated Matrix Plus (PIM+) construction for an extremely lightweight shell, and superior aerodynamics and comfort. This model showcases company technical capabilities and innovations such as brand advanced ventilation channeling system and company unique composite shell designs. What sets RPHA 11 apart is that it offers the quality and features of high-end helmets at prices that are accessible to the average consumer, an accomplishment brand high-end competitors have not been able to do. The RPHA 11 helmet offers extremely light weight for rider comfort. In fact, it is one of the lightest in its class.
In addition to the RPHA 11, HJC has released the RPHA 70 ST and the RPHA 90. The RPHA 70 ST and RPHA 90 shells are both composed of the PIM+ composite to reduce weight while maintaining superior shock absorption. The RPHA 70 ST is constructed for sport-touring with aerodynamics and adjustable ventilation designed for upright riding. The RPHA 90 is a modular helmet designed for touring, with rider convenience and comfort as the top priorities. The RPHA 90 is a solution to the average bulky and heavy modular helmet, which is crucial for long journeys.
HJC Helmets founded in 1971, has a proud history of supplying high quality motorcycle helmets to both the public and racers around the world.
As brand celebrate HJC’s 47th Anniversary, HJC is proud to announce its continued partnership with Dorna as the first helmet company in the world to Title sponsor a MotoGP event.
HJC has enjoyed great success as the title sponsor of the 2016 HJC Helmets GP Ceské republiky and the 2017 HJC Helmets GP de France, and this coming year HJC will return to
Le Mans for the 2018 HJC Helmets Grand Prix de France. HJC is pleased to be a Title Sponsor of MotoGP events annually as it allows the company to give back to brand industry and to support the sport of motorcycle racing that brand so dearly love.
Over the years, HJC has been known for the quality of its products.
This has been the focus and mission of every individual at HJC. As a result, the outcome has been rather impressive.
As the industry and motorcycle riders around the world know, the RPHA 10 was one of the best performing helmets in its class. Therefore, it was rather challenging for the engineers at HJC to make RPHA 11 even better. Incredibly, HJC achieved just this. The RPHA 11 has received superior feedback with its industry leading compact shell shape and super light-weight surpasses all of its competitors. Several additional safety and comfort features were added. Currently, among others, German rider Jonas Folger wears the RPHA 11 in the MotoGP championship.
In 2017 HJC released the RPHA 70, an ultra-lightweight Sport Touring helmet that stood out among competitors. RPHA 70 was defi nitely the helmet of the year in 2017. To continue the momentum HJC has built with the successful launch of various RPHA series’ models, company are extremely proud to present an all new high performance modular helmet, the RPHA 90, for 2018.
The modular RPHA 90 is equipped with a number of new features including, but not limited to, smallest, lightweight shell construction, ultimate aerodynamic design, increased advanced ventilation, improved safety features, and a state of the art sun-visor mechanism. The RPHA 90 replaces the preceding RPHA MAX evo modular helmet. With the successful introduction of the RPHA 11 Helmet with its P.I.M. technology in 2016 and the RPHA 70 in 2017, HJC continues to push the advancement of technology.
It only made sense to use the feedback from the original RPHA modular helmet, combined with the improved features of the newest RPHA models to create the RPHA 90.
Delivering high quality products, such as the RPHA 11, RPHA 70 and RPHA 90, is a key pillar to HJC Helmets’ global success as the leader in its industry around the world. For 2018, brand also reveal a special line up of new licensed designs from Marvel, Star Wars and Pixar. New Marvel graphics include the RPHA 70 Iron Man and the CS-15 Spider- Man: Homecoming.
