In most cases, restoring vintage and classic motorcycles requires extra care, the use of some rare parts, and some special chemicals. Kreem is a company engaged in developing cleaners and protectors to keep steel fuel tanks in good working condition. Over time, a gas tank can get covered with rust not only on the outside but also on the inside, which leads to other problems such as clogging the fuel system, bad performance, and leaks. Restoring an old tank can be better than installing an aftermarket replacement, especially if you want your bike to remain in its original condition.
Actually, even some newer bikes made just several years ago may have such issues with internal corrosion. A Kreem tank sealer (or liner) kit includes the liner and special cleaners, so-called preps. These preps will help you to dissolve and remove all rust and oil from the reservoir in order to prepare it for the Kreem tank liner. This liquid creates a reliable protective film inside, which is resistant to fuel and even helps to eliminate some minor leaks.
