Namura Technologies Inc. is a Minnesota-based company that has been producing pistons, rings, bearings, and gaskets since 2001. Namura pistons come in OE-spec sizes and oversizes, cast from alloys with a higher silicone content to better resist wear and high temperatures. Heads are machined smooth and then anodized. Skirts are finished in MOS2 (Teflon/Molybdenum) that's 10 times stronger than other types of coatings. This reduces friction and improves heat transfer, providing smoother starts and outstanding break-in protection.

The company's forged pistons are built from the alloy that outclasses the 4032 aluminum industry standard. This further reduces expansion and provides superior strength-to-weight ratio, while allowing for tighter tolerances. The Hyperdryve series is stronger than conventional cast alloys and maintains hardness in extreme conditions for longer time periods, without the higher cost of forging.
