N40-5 Open Face Helmet by Nolan Helmets®. This is the jet from Nolan. Ultra wide visor, VPS sunscreen (adjustable in various positions), Air Booster Technology upper ventilation System, peak (available according to segment - characterized by a movement which is coordinated with the visor) and set up for the N-Com communication system make the N40-5 an interesting jet for both the scooter and the motorbike sectors.

Warranty

LIMITED WARRANTY CERTIFICATE VALID FOR 5 (FIVE) YEARS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE OR 7 (SEVEN) YEARS FROM THE DATE OF MANUFACTURE. ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT THE UTMOST CARE AND CAUTION ARE YOUR BEST POSSIBLE PROTECTION WHENEVER YOU RIDE A MOTORCYCLE! PLEASE READ CAREFULLY ALL THE CLAUSES AND CONDITIONS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY CERTIFICATE. By this LIMITED WARRANTY CERTIFICATE, Nolan® and X-Lite® guarantee to the original purchaser of the helmet that the product is free from all material and manufacturing defects at the time of purchase.

COVER PROVIDED BY THE WARRANTY

This limited warranty certificate offers these warranty periods:

For defects which might arise on painting or coating of the outer shell, 2 (two) years from the date of purchase or 4 (four) years from the date of manufacture (printed on the label sewn inside the helmet), whichever comes first
For all other defects not included in item 5 (five) years from the date of purchase or 7 (seven) years from the date of manufacture (printed on the label sewn inside the helmet), whichever comes first. Nolan® and X-Lite® shall proceed, through their distribution networks and after verifying the defect, to repair or replace the defective product. Nolan® and X-Lite® shall supply all the materials and provide all the labor reasonably necessary to remedy the reported defect.

EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS OF COVER

This warranty covers only material and manufacturing defects. Nolan® and X-Lite® cannot be held liable for damages to the product which are either wholly or partially attributable to any other cause, including, but not limited to:

Damage caused by improper use, lack of due care, normal wear and tear of internal and external components
Scratches, abrasions, detaching of paint or other damage caused to the external painted parts of the helmet by accidental impacts
Scratches, abrasions, deterioration or other damage caused to the helmet visor by accidental impacts or by incorrect cleaning procedure of the visor
Damage caused by the application of stickers and/or adhesives
Any damage caused by an accident
Any modification or change made to the helmet by the user or by third parties
Damages caused by any type of painting/lacquering applied un the external shell by the user or third party
Color changes or damage caused by exposure to harmful chemical products
Color variations or damages caused by exposure to sunlight and/or heat sources
Change in the fluorescent colors used in the graphics on some models as a consequence of prolonged and direct exposure to sunlight
Use of incompatible accessories not sold by Nolan® and X-Lite

Defects covered by this warranty likewise do not include all the specific and subjective situations which may arise during dynamic use of the helmet, such as problems of comfort due to improper sizing, or wind noise while riding. Nolan® and X-Lite® cannot in any case be held liable for accidental or consequential damage (including, with no limitation whatsoever, injuries to a person or persons) resulting from the failure to comply with the obligations stipulated in this warranty regarding Nolan® and X-Lite® products. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties, incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLOWED TO MAKE POSSIBLE CLAIMS

This warranty is valid in the entire territory of the United States and Canada and is the only express warranty given by Nolan® and X-Lite® in relation to the sale of their own helmets. Any service provided under the warranty does not have the effect of extending the warranty period itself. If the helmet or any of its components are replaced, a new warranty period does not begin to run on the product or on individual components supplied by way of replacement; the date of purchase or the date of manufacture of the original helmet remains the deciding factor.

My friends bought this helmet for me. All clothes I wear are black, so they hit it)) I still haven't got used to its color cause it's like graphite or smth. Just haven't worn this before. But they say it looks eye catching. Pretty impressed with a 5-year warranty and the best thing I like here is that it's kinda ventilated. I feel it's not muggy inside. Unexpectedly Good

Nolan Helmets® N455270330101 - N40-5 Large Flat Black Open Face Helmet

It was my wife who has a helmet and convinced me to buy the same Nolan helmet. We even had a fight on that matter last week. Goddamit, I said 'fine' and ordered it. You not gonna believe it but I like it. I hope she's not reading that. But my suggestion - just order it if she says to. But let's be serious, I don't see any clear cons. Try it. It's up to you.

I've just recently bought a bike and wanted smth fresh for it. The word of mouth, as it turned out, does work and I was told by friends of mine that they bought nolan stuff, so I decided to check it up. First of all, it's wide, but comfortable to wear. If you're looking for something that does not look big, then it's not for you. UV protection, bluetooth, and other stuff like that. If you use it, then that's what you need. I don't know, should it have anything else? I mean... it's a helmet, not a space shuttle. I like it.

This helmet provides good visibility cause it has an ultra-wide visor. Makes riding safer and more comfortable. Gives enough airflow with its smart ventilation system, which is great for hot summer trips. It also has a UV-proof sunscreen that protects eyes from harsh sun rays. Plus, it is adjustable) Have no problems with fogging as well. And finally, I love the snazzy look Nolan offers. Feel in trend.

My New Love

Nolan Helmets® N455270330097 - N40-5 X-Small Black Graphite Open Face Helmet

I was looking for a wide visibility, that is impossible with integral helmets. And this Nolan one is my best choice ever! Love it! Yes, open helmet will not protect you as an integral one, but it`s enough for ATV. I feel safety and comfort in it. It weights less than integral or modular ones, but the quality of assembly or materials is on top. I`m in love with this long sun protective visor! No need in glasses anymore. Hooray! I`ll buy one more as a present for my husband!
