Headlight Sealing Silicone 10oz 24 Pack by Oracle Lighting®. Type: Tubes. The first commercially available sealant specifically formulated for vehicle headlight sealing applications has now arrived. This premium headlight sealant is specifically formulated RTV (Room-Temperature-Vulcanizing) waterproof silicone sealant designed for use in reassembling vehicle headlamp housings. The sealant has a tack time of 30 minutes and cures in three hours although six hours is recommended to insure a full cure.

Notes

Do Not Injest. Avoid inhaling fumes during curing. Releases Methanol and Ammonia while curing. Do not allow contact with eyes. Wear safety glasses while using this product. Keep away from children.

The silicone will become tack-free within 30 minutes of application. The headlight should have the lens affixed with a clamp or other device to put pressure on the assembly for a minimum of 3 hours while the seal sets -preferably overnight. Depending on the thickness of the seal bead, the silicone may take up to 2 weeks to fully cure inside and outside. During this time you should avoid pressure washing, heavy rain, or any other unnecessary contact with water or moisture and the seal. Oracle reserves the right to inspect, test, and diagnose the defective part to see if the defect was due to factory error or customer negligence. This warranty does not cover damage due to improper installation. Oracle warrants the hardware for the lifetime of the vehicle the product is properly installed in. The warranty is not transferable and is only subject to the vehicle the equipment is originally installed in. If the product is removed, uninstalled, transfers ownership, or is otherwise parted from its original installation, warranty becomes void.

Oracle will repair or replace the hardware found not to operate in accordance with the hardware specifications, so long as the customer has properly operated the hardware and used it in conformance with such specifications. All replaced products and parts, whether under warranty or not, become the property of Oracle.

Note: Removing the 3M adhesive backing from a halo/halo kit will void the warranty.

Installation

As with any product that deals with electronics, Oracle recommends that the parts are installed by a trained professional. Trained professionals are defined as any certified ASE mechanic or trained automotive Technician certified in car stereo or alarm installation. Oracle will not be responsible for any damage to a customer's vehicle. Any damage done to said vehicle is the responsibility of the technician who installs the product and he/she should be notified of this by the customer before installation takes place.

Silicone

Not that great. I was sent a dried out one and couldn't get it out at all. It got all over my counter tops and myself.

Regular Money Saver

I had to seal one of my headlights which were pretty old (they were factory installed). I was advised to buy this headlight sealing silicone, which did a great job, so now I will keep my original headlights. But if I decide to add halos to my headlights, I'll be able to use this silicone again. I am glad with this purchase and can recommend it for the lights sealing.
