Universal Pro Series Forged Chain Replacement O-Ring Master Link by ProTaper®. 520MX. Replacement master links are available for all ProTaper Gold Series Chains. Utilizing a newly developed manufacturing technique never-before seen in the off-road chain market, ProTaper Pro Series chains feature innovative forged pin collars that have been seamlessly incorporated into the outer chain plate. By cold-forging pin collars to encase the thermally refined alloy steel chromium carbide layered pins, outer chain plate thickness can be slimmed to reduce weight while increasing tensile strength. Featuring Slim O-Ring Technology, which offers superior, long lasting chain lubrication in a slimmer profile, eliminating the clearance issues of competing O-ring chain designs.
