    • Twinwall® are engineered for the toughest of conditions. The Twinwall feature a patented design that borrow aircraft design principles by utilising two tubes. Providing the rider with a combination of Strength, lightweight and safety. Since their introduction in 1998, the Twinwall® have been the handlebar of choice for more professional race teams and has helped more riders win championships than any other handlebar in the world.

      Design

The Twinwall consists of two aluminium alloy tubes, one within the other. This design gives the handlebar additional strength and security. Making Twinwall the toughest handlebar available.

Covered by: US Patent No. 6182528 & 5832785, GB Patent No. 2321225, US Design No. 431803

      Materials

The outer tube is made from 7010 T73 aluminum, which has extreme good resistance to mechanical damage and is anodised to prevent corrosion. The inner tube is manufactured from an ultra high strength 7010 T6 aluminum which is hard anodised.

Every Twinwall comes with a Renthal injection molded foam bar pad.

      Manufacture

Manufactured exclusively with in the Renthal Factory by Renthal manufacturing employees. The Twinwall under goes a 29 step process that sees raw tubing come in and finished handlebars leave the factory.

      Testing

Testing plays an important role during the development and production of each Renthal Handlebar.

      Racing

Renthal and Racing go hand in hand. We are proud to be in the hands of every racer, from 50cc mini riders to World Champions.

    • Renthal® Fatbar® are the market leading unbraced handlebar. Featuring a tapered wall profile enables the clamping diameter(1-1/8" | 28.6mm) to be larger than the control ends (7/8" | 22.2mm). The design of Fatbar reduces weight whilst maintaining an extremely high strength. Fitted as OE equipment by Honda and Suzuki.

      Design

Fatbar achieves its market leading strength to weight ratio thanks to efficient use of material and computer aided taper wall profiling reducing weight, whilst retaining the strength, durability and flex characteristics of Fatbar.

      Material

Fatbar is engineered from an exclusive 7010 T6 aluminum exclusive to Renthal for Handlebars. This alloy is specially formulated to reduce vibration through it's structure. The Fatbar has a shot peened surface texture that increases the fatigue life and durability of the bar.

      Manufacture

Manufactured exclusively within the Renthal Factory. The Fatbar under goes a 17 Step advanced manufacturing process that sees raw tubing come in and finished handlebars leave.

      Testing

Each Renthal handlebar design under goes a series of intense tests that check for strength, durability, material integrity, surface finish, impact resistance and dimensional accuracy. Working alongside top level race teams provides us with essential feedback for creating the ultimate handlebar.

      Racing

With 212 US titles and 205 World titles, Renthal handlebars are without question the ultimate handlebars. Renthal are proud to be in the hands of every racer, from 50cc mini riders to World Champions.

    • Renthal employs extremely tight tolerances and an exclusive alloy, specifically developed for the manufacture of handlebars with specific properties that help limit vibration (a common cause of rider fatigue).

      Design

The braced 7/8" handlebar design is a favoutite amongst many riders especially those accustom to riding with a cross brace.
The cross brace helps improve the stiffness whilst allowing a comfortable level of flex.

      Material

Renthal 7/8" handlebar share the same exclusive 7010 T6 Aluminum alloy as used in the Fatbars. This alloy is specially formulated to reduce vibration through it's structure. Renthal 7/8" handlebars have a shot peened surface texture that increases the fatigue life and durability of the bar.

      Manufacture

    • Renthal’s 1 1/8” (28.6mm) handlebar clamps are designed to allow the mounting of oversized 1 1/8” handlebars, such as the Twinwall and Fatbar to motorcycles which are equipped with 7/8” handlebars as standard. Designed to use the OEM rubber cones.

      Clamps

The handlebar clamping surfaces are accurately machined. This ensures a perfect fit between the handlebar and clamp which reduces possible movement. Available in different offsets and anodised to prevent corrosion.

      Bolts

To minimise the chance of bolt failure, special attention has been paid to the design. The unique bolt head is designed with a part hemispherical seating blended into the shank. The bolt is plated and de-embrittled to resist corrosion. A stainless steel spring dowel pin prevents rotation when tightening.

      CNC Machined

Both the clamps and the bolts are carefully CNC machined at the Renthal Factory. Taking a billet of material our CNC machines using various tools machine away material leaving the final product ready for finishing.

      Material

The clamps are CNC machined using a high strength 6082 T6 Aluminium alloy. The bolts are CNC machined from nickel chromium molybdenum 817M40 steel that is both hardened and tempered to grade 'W'. Corresponding to an ultimate tensile strength of 1075-1225 N/mm or 70-80 Ton/in.
