Renthal off-road front chainwheels are chosen by more factory motocross and supercross teams than any other chainwheel on the market today.
They are CNC machined from a cased hardened and core refined 655M13 nickel chromium steel.
Most models utilize mud grooves which are CNC machined into each tooth on both sides to allow mud to flow away from the key contact points between the chain and the chainwheel. This helps reduce wear and increases the drivetrain lifespan.
Certain models are available in a computer aided Ultralight design to further reduce weight while still maintaining its structural integrity.
To account for the extremely high tolerances required for engine components, here at Renthal we make use of our in house CNC facilities to accurately machine each individual front chainwheel to the tightest tolerance possible.
The case hardening process ensures that the front chainwheel has the longest service life possible. Each chainwheel is introduced to great heat that hardens the surface.
Core refined 655M13 Nickel-Chrome-Molybdenum alloy steel gives the ultimate combination of strength and hardness.
Most off-road fronts feature self-cleaning mud grooves between every tooth on both sides help prevent dirt build up.
Certain models available in factory ultralight design to further reduce weight and maximise performance.
Renthal Ultralight™ chainwheels are used by more factory motocross and supercross teams than any other chainwheel in the world
Renthal Ultralight™ rear chainwheels are manufactured to extremely tight tolerances from 7075 T6 aluminium alloy which is 66% lighter than steel, yet incredibly durable. Their advanced tooth profile, concentricity and accuracy of fit provide maximum power transfer and long-life.
Renthal's combination of a high strength base material and exceptionally hardwearing surface result in significantly increased chainwheel life over other brands.
Designed to keep revolving un-sprung mass to an absolute minimum and power transfer at a maximum, Renthal Ultralight™ rear chainwheels are 66% lighter than steel.
Each Ultralight™ Rear Chainwheel that leaves Renthal's engineering facilities in the UK is individually CNC machined to the tightest possible tolerances, ensuring an accurate and reliable fit.
High strength specially enhanced 7075 T6 aluminium alloy is used to create the perfect rear chainwheel, that is both lightweight, durable and strong.
Ultralight™ Rear Chainwheels feature Renthal's self cleaning mud groove technology between each tooth. This prevents mud build up that traditionally leads to quicker wearing components.
Ultralight Rear Chainwheels are available in 6 colours to help you personalise your setup. The available colours are Black, Blue, Red, Green, Orange and Tanium. The anodised surface finish provides an integral coating preventing corrosion. A 15 step process is carefully carried on on each chainwheel individually.
A long lasting durable off-road sprocket developed over 5 years.
The unique flat face design keeps weight to a minimum and means the Twinring rear chainwheel is as narrow as a standard chainwheel.
Outer is expanded at 200°C and then fitted to inner, creating a permanent bond for the life of the sprocket.
The inner ring of the unique Renthal® Twinring® is engineered from Ultralight 7075 T6 Aluminium. This keeps the weight of the Twinring® to a minimum.
Renthal® Twinring® feature a Electroless Nickel Coated steel. This ensures an ultra long service life of the chainwheel, providing you with maximum power transfer longer than ever.
Each Twinring® that leaves Renthal's engineering facilities in the UK is individually CNC machined to the tightest possible tolerances, ensuring an accurate and reliable fit.
The Outer ring is expanded to 200°C to be fitted to the inner ring. Cooling creates a permenant bond. Flat socket set screws prevent lateral movement between the rings in high velocity impacts.
