If your internal armature is good, you may only need to replace your brush kit. Pleasewhat brand starter motor you have and how many brushes it takes before ordering any replacement brush kits. Turns counter-clockwise. This repair kit includes the negative brush plate with brush & 2 springs and the positive brush plate complete with brush, stud, nut, & all insulators.
