Product Details
Rectifier Regulator (10-515) by Rick's Motorsport Electrics®. This is the regulator only; the rectifier is sold separately. Before replacing this Regulator please check the OHMs reading on your rotor; a reading of 3.5 - 4.5 OHMs is required. Without sufficient resistence, failure will result & the warranty will be void. This universal style rectifier-regulator comes with wire leads only; you will need to re-use your old plug ends or hardwire the part. Installation instructions are included.
Must-Do Tips before Installing a Rectifier/Regulator
- Check the AC output of the stator
- Check that the stator is not grounded
- Replace any burned or corroded connectors on stator & rec/reg
- Check & repair any melted wiring
- Use hi-Temp Dielectric grease on all connectors
