Like just about everything in the motorcycle world, Risk Racing was born out of passion. Its founder, James Burry, is both a motocross racer and product designer with the technical knowledge and experience needed to create MX and dirt bike products that work and last. The company started in a garage in 2005 has grown into a brand name recognized for breakthrough designs in motocross industry. While Lock-N-Load tie-down systems that secure the bike during transportation are what the brand is best known for, there are many other innovative products for racers and dirt bike riders, including goggles and accessories, jugs, stands, and many more.
The Risk Racing starting gate is a useful training tool for any beginner or professional MX racer. Because a good start brings you closer to the Motocross Championship podium, it is utterly important to master your staring technique. The Holeshot is a replication of an actual racing starting gate that allows you to practice starts. The push of a handlebar-mounted button wirelessly activates a random drop sequence. If you practice with a trainer, the gate can be set into the instant drop mode; two or more gates cat be linked together to see how your skills compare to those of your buddies.
