Scooters are inexpensive, both easy and great fun to ride, and they get phenomenal gas mileage, so it’s no surprise they’re one of the fastest growing segments in the powersports industry. Many small scooters start at less than $2000, and some 50cc models get 100mpg! With their light weight, small physical size, and step-through design, scooters are easy to get on – much less intimidating for a novice rider than throwing a leg over a big, heavy motorcycle. Even those with short inseams can generally sit on a small scooter and have both feet flat on the ground. Another feature that’s a boon to new riders - most modern scooters have a fully automatic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) transmission, so there’s no clutch actuating and shifting to learn, just twist the throttle and go. No matter what attracts you to scooters - economy, ease of use, or just plain fun - you can count on our scooter parts & accessories to make your scooter riding experience even better.

Scooters come in different sizes and with a variety of standard features, so there’s a model for every use, taste, and budget. Some scooter makers are relatively new while others like Vespa, Honda and Yamaha are well-known brands that have been building scooters for many years. If you’re looking for economical, around town transportation, a basic 50cc scooter will do the job, but with its small wheels and a top speed of about 35mph, it’s impractical for use on the highway. Larger scooters with 125-150cc engines can maintain highway speeds and the ones with larger diameter wheels provide more stability at higher speeds, especially over rough roads. There are also scooters with larger, more powerful engines and sophisticated suspensions that accelerate and handle quite well, some even with features like ABS (Anti-lock Brake System), and there are even models that have the power and plush accommodations to serve as long-distance tourers.

Scooters are economical to buy and own, but like any other vehicle they require regular maintenance if you want them to last. We recommend following the maintenance schedule recommendations in your owner’s manual and coming here for all the products you need for maintenance tasks. We have premium motor oils for air and liquid-cooled engines; coolant and brake fluid for topping off and changes; lubricants for cables, chains, and final drives; air and oil filters; spark plugs; and much more. Along with consumables we have the tools and equipment you’ll need for every maintenance session including tire pressure gauges, fluid drain pans, oil filter wrenches, spark plug sockets and gappers, cable lube adapters, and stands and lifts to raise and support the scooter. Plus, we have parts for major and minor repairs, special tools for engines and drivelines, and if you need some service guidance we have repair manuals with easy to follow, step-by-step maintenance, repair, and diagnostic procedures, and detailed illustrations and photographs. We also offer the appearance care products needed to keep your scoot looking great including bike wash, polish, wax, and spray detailers.

Once your pride and joy is gleaming, you’ll want to protect those great looks with one of our motorcycle covers. We have universal fit and custom covers that are gentle to your scooter’s finish while protecting it from weathering and damaging UV rays. They’re water resistant yet breathable to prevent condensation and mildew, and many feature heat resistant lower panels to prevent damage from hot exhaust pipes. Some scooters have underseat storage and rudimentary racks, but if you want more gear carrying capability or you’re outfitting your scoot with luggage from scratch, you’ve come to the right place. We have sturdy racks and cargo nets and straps to secure your gear; saddlebags, mounts and saddlebag liners; top cases and much more. Whether you’re commuting or pleasure riding, you can increase your comfort level with a gel or air cushion seat pad, sheepskin seat cover, backrest, comfortable grips, and a windscreen to shield yourself from the wind, insects and debris. And if you continue to ride even when the mercury starts to drop, we have seat heaters and heated grips to provide warmth.

Whether you’re trying to find a new restaurant across town or need directions across the state, you’ll have no problems getting to your destination with a dedicated motorcycle GPS. Unlike a GPS app on a smartphone, dedicated motorcycle GPS units are specifically designed for 2-wheel use, where they’re exposed to vibration and the elements. They’re durable and waterproof, with easy to read, glove-friendly displays. Many have lifetime map updates and provide information on restaurants, gas stations, and points of interest, and with some you can customize the route to your destination to experience the most interesting roads and the best scenery. We also offer Bluetooth headsets that can be easily installed on a variety of helmet styles including full face, modular, and open face, and wirelessly connected to smartphones, iPods, MP3 players, and GPS units. These include microphone, speakers, and a control module that can be easily operated with gloves, so you can make calls, listen to music, and get spoken directions from the GPS. Some Bluetooth units can be paired with a number of other headsets, enabling communication with a passenger and other riders within a certain range.

Upgrading your scooter’s lighting can improve your ability to see at night and make your scoot more visible to other motorists for greater safety, and we have the products to make it happen. If your scooter has a replaceable headlight bulb, consider installing one of our LED headlight conversion kits. LEDs produce light that is much brighter, they last longer, draw less current, and are vibration resistant. These bulbs are a plug and play installation, with no rewiring or modifications to your scoot required. If your scooter has a sealed beam headlight you can upgrade to brighter light and awesome looks with a full LED sealed beam headlight. Many of these lights use projector beam technology that produces a sharper, more focused beam of light, and some also have LED accent lights that serve as DRLs (Daytime Running Lights), including eye-catching LED halos.

You can gain even more forward illumination and visibility by supplementing your headlight with our LED fog lights or auxiliary driving lights. Thanks to LEDs these lights pack a lot of illumination into a small package and their diminutive size allows them to be mounted on front racks, dedicated light bars, or tucked into recesses in fairings. We also offer a variety of flexible LED accent light strips and LED light pods that are so small they can be installed just about anywhere, as well as small LED light bars that can be used to supplement running and brake lights, multi-function fender-mount LED lights, and much more. And if you want your scooter to be a hit at shows or wherever you park install one of our underbody light kits, available in multicolor kits that change colors, patterns and themes, and strobe, scan and pulse light to music, all controlled from an app on your smartphone.

With such a variety of scooters, it’s no surprise that there is also a wide range of wheel and tire sizes. Many small scooters roll on 10” wheels, while some of the largest models are fitted with 14” and 15” wheels. But regardless of the rim width or diameter on your scooter, you can depend on us to have the right tires for fitment. We have tires with the proper load range and tread and rubber compound to provide good wet and dry traction. Plus, we have easy to install Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) that allow you to monitor your scooter’s tire pressure and temperature, wirelessly transmitted from tire valve stem mounted sensors, on a convenient, handlebar installed LCD display.

And though you’ll often see images of people riding scooters in attire that’s more appropriate for the beach, we don’t recommend it. Even at the low speeds a small 50cc scooter is capable of, an accident can result in serious injury. We have the gear you need to be protected and comfortable while riding including full face, modular, and open face helmets with features like internal retractable sun visors and removeable liners; abrasion resistant jackets in leather and water-resistant textile; boots that provide support and stability as well as protection, and gloves with padding or armor at the palm and knuckles for impact protection and abrasion resistant leather or textile material to protect your skin. We offer gear to keep you warm in cooler weather including balaclavas and heated jacket liners and gloves; mesh and ventilated gear for hot summer riding; and one and two-piece rain suits so you can keep going in any kind of weather.
