It is no secret that motorcycle performance greatly depends on the fuel management system. Essentially, it’s an engine control module that sends short signals to fuel injectors making them open for several milliseconds per each cycle. During acceleration or other high-loaded operation modes, the signals last longer thus letting more fuel into the cylinders. At idle or while riding at moderate speed, they are shorter for better fuel economy and lower emissions. However, there are several acceptable solutions when composing a fuel map, and aftermarket fuel controllers offered here enable you to choose the finest settings in your particular case.

Some of them work together with the stock ECU, and with the push of a button, you can add or reduce fuel supply in corresponding working modes that include idle, acceleration, full throttle, etc. Others allow you to achieve and keep the desired air-to-fuel ratio under control. Measured by a wideband oxygen sensor, this ratio can also be altered for various modes individually, and you can see it on a special gauge included in such a kit.
