One of the most recognized air filter manufacturers, Uni Filter was started in 1969 with a simple idea – to create a truly effective air filter. And that’s exactly what it did! The company’s engineers decided to use polyurethane foam as a filtration material, instead of paper or gauze, because it provides superior capturing capabilities and can be easily washed and reused. Uni Filter original POD and Sock air filters designed for motorcycles and small engines received mass acceptance, and this allowed the company to carve its niche in the motorsports and powersports industries.
Today, Uni Filter product line covers virtually all popular motorcycles, ATVs, and UTVs. Both professional racers and serious enthusiasts rely on Uni Air filters to protect their engine and keep it performing at its best in dusty and dirty environments. But what makes Uni air filters so special? Their ability to hold an extreme amount of particles without restricting airflow lies in their unique design. Each filter is soaked in specially formulated sticky filter oil that is suspended on the strands of the open-cell foam structure. Dirt and other contaminants just can’t pass through the filter without sticking to the stands.
When the outer strands become dirty, the strands downstream start capturing the particles so that the whole thickness of the filter is used. This ensures a long service life and helps eliminate air restriction. On top of this, when the filter is sufficiently dirty, you can wash, reoil, and reuse it. Uni air filters are designed to provide outstanding performance in the toughest of conditions, but remember that they must be properly oiled before the installation to provide maximum effectiveness. Uni Filters has you covered with top-quality foam filter oil specifically formulated to ensure proper filter maintenance for maximum engine protection and performance.
