Originally founded in 1996 to import motorcycle components from major manufacturers, thus supplying U.S. customers with premium products, Vento Motorcycles has grown into a well-known and respected motorcycle, ATV, and scooter manufacturer thanks to distinctive design characteristics of its vehicles. Today, the company is headquartered in San Diego, California, and has a product development, marketing, and sales support center located in Melbourne, Florida, and assembly facilities in Laredo, Texas. Besides, it also has an additional design team based in Australia and research and development team in Italy. The Vento network currently includes more than 175 dealers in the USA. Although, the company is widely known outside the United States for its stylish and reliable motorcycles, scooters, and ATVs, all of which consist of Vento parts and accessories built to last for years.

The first assembly facility of the company was founded in Laredo, Texas, with the main goal to control the build quality of all Vento products. It made the company more competitive in the global marketplace. Besides, thanks to sophisticated technologies of that facility, Vento products received certification by CARB (California Air Resources Board) and EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) as well as approval of NHTSA (the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration). The Vento product line currently includes a great number of vehicles from cruisers and city bikes to urban sport motorcycles. All Vento accessories and parts used in the company's motorcycles are professionally designed and united to deliver an ideal combination of style, performance, and reliability. The Gladiator XLS, V Thunder XL, and Rebellian are considered to be the most important motorcycles by Vento. The Rebellian and V Thunder XL are still in production.

The Vento lineup of scooters is also huge and includes many offerings such as the Triton LI, Triton R3, and Zip R3consisting of premium Vento accessories and parts for lasting service life. In 2005, the company released the GT5 line of scooters. In two years, its LI lineup was introduced to the public. While the GT5 models are equipped with drum brakes, the LI ones come with disc brakes. After more than two decades in the industry, Vento keeps its leading position on the market. The company's engineers have never stopped developing and designing new products as well as improving the current offerings in order to satisfy the ever-growing needs of its customers.
