Adventure/Touring Bike Exhaust Oxygen Sensors
Oxygen (O2) or Lambda sensors are there to keep the engine of your adventure or touring bike operating efficiently and keep harmful emissions within limits. The exhaust system incorporates oxygen sensors that feed important data to the engine control unit. They work from their own voltage after reaching higher temperatures. Such components monitor the amount of unburned O2 left in the spent gas as it is exiting the engine. In general, this allows the ECU to control the air-fuel mixture ratio. The voltage signal is acquired by the engine control unit, which adjusts the amounts of gasoline injected, ensuring cleaner emissions, proper performance of your motorcycle, and more economical gasoline consumption.
When the O2 sensor goes bad, the computer receives wrong readings and the mixture can get too rich or lean. Neither of these conditions is good, with the possible result being reduced power, jerking, and possible damage to your bike’s parts. We offer quality replacements. Biker’s Choice, Twin Power, Daytona Twin Tec, Vance & Hines, Firebrand, and many other manufacturing companies offer their adventure/touring bike exhaust oxygen sensors, hence you can shop being absolutely confident that you’ll purchase high-quality products!
