Today's hydraulic systems get much praise as they make a more powerful clutch easier to engage, resulting in less hand fatigue and a safer, more comfortable, more enjoyable ride. However, old-school cable-operated clutches are still omnipresent as they are simple, reliable, easier to maintain, and actually work well for most applications. Cable-actuated clutches require periodic adjustment and lubrication. The cable can break when you least expect it so it's a good idea to inspect it for fraying, cuts, and corrosion. When it's time to change your old cable, here you'll find an OE-style replacement of the same quality as the factory component or even better for less money. A stainless steel inner wire and vinyl housing ensure a lasting service life and smooth pulling. If you are planning to install different style handlebars, you may need to swap your cables and we have clutch cables and lines of the correct length.

Braided hydraulic lines are a worthy upgrade over your stock rubber lines in terms of looks, durability, and lever feel. Rubber hoses tend to swell under pressure contributing to a spongy lever feel. Braided lines don't expand so they offer more precise modulation and a more confident lever feel. These lines are typically constructed with stainless steel braid and Teflon inner lining and are sometimes coated in a clear topcoat. They are more resistant to abrasion, puncture, and UV damage and look way better than black rubber lines. Here you'll find steel braided clutch lines sold individually and in kits with brake lines, complete with all needed fittings and hardware, so you can make a consistent upgrade.
