• The rocker arm pivot (aka ball and or fulcrum) is essential to dependable rocker arm performance. Damaged and / or worn rocker arm pivots will increase friction; can cause misalignment and inefficient arm movement leading to premature engine failure. A worn pivot will also not allow for proper valve train adjustment. Melling rocker arm pivots are manufactured to high quality and material standards.
