PM's Contrast Cut finish starts out with a high quality, exceptionally smooth anodized surface, the result of an intensive polish preparation. Once Performance Machine products have been treated to anodize, Performance Machine take it one step further to achieve the boldness of the Contrast Cut finish. An anodized blank has its' contrasting accents machined away, accentuating the details of the wheel design and exposing the raw aluminum underneath. The Contrast Cut finish leaves the exposed aluminum in the raw machined state. The F.T.Z. and Superlight rider floorboards lay down a BIG platform for BIG boots and plenty of foot room on those long rides to stretch out. The F.T.Z. features a vibration isolating floating tread zone which is neatly hidden in this unique design. The knurled rubber insert provides a non-slip surface and further reduces vibration. You get great PM looks, extended foot room and the vibration dampening of a floating floorboard. And of course Performance Machine famous Contour floorboard has been a premuim choice for an aftermarket Harley-Davidson FL floorboard for many years.
