Description

The front wings of the Kit Pista for the BMW R1300GS are the components that most transform the appearance of this iconic motorcycle. With sharp, aggressive lines, they convey power, speed, and competitiveness while reinforcing the sporty character of the R1300GS.

Their design visually enlarges the front of the bike through large inclined surfaces that, in addition to giving it a more imposing presence, generate downforce on the front axle at high speed. This effect occurs because the air flowing over the upper surface of the wing exerts downward pressure, while the lower airflow accelerates, creating low pressure. The result is aerodynamic support of up to 5.4 kg on the front axle, with multiple riding benefits:

• Anti-wheelie effect: prevents the front wheel from lifting under strong acceleration, reducing the need for electronic intervention.
• Greater high-speed stability (anti-shimmy): counteracts handlebar vibrations, both annoying and dangerous.
• More stability under hard braking: improves control when the suspension is compressed and facilitates corner entry.
• Stability during direction changes: provides confidence and security in dynamic riding.

Aesthetically, the wings integrate an elegant winglet that harmonizes with the stamped metal BMW front and headlight design, creating a subtle link between form and aerodynamics.
Made of high-grade matte black ABS with a thickness of 3 mm and mounted using 3 mm metal brackets finished in a discreet textured black, they combine lightness, strength, and functionality. Their dimensions are 263 mm wide and 370 mm long.
