OEM Style CDI Box by Rick's Motorsport Electrics®. This is the Small OKI style ignition control unit. Some applications require TWO CDI boxes; please refer to your service manual. Rick's Motorsport Electrics, Inc offers both OEM style aftermarket replacement CDI boxes. The only real way to test your CDI box is to swap it out with another known good unit from the same year/make/model. Because of this, Rick's recommend that you rule everything else out before replacing the CDI box. There are so many factors that can cause a CDI box to go out, which is why it's the only product that Rick's sell without a warranty. This top-grade product is expertly made in compliance with stringent industry standards to offer a fusion of a well-balanced design and high level of craftsmanship. I'm happy. Around half the cost of the original Honda unit and in talking with Rick's Tech support I think this may be even more reliable. One thing did concern me and that was the sticker that said no warranty no returns. Rick's themselves will handle the one year warranty on this part. As far as performance, other that the option of going 1,000 RPM more than stock it feels just like the Honda part. It is potted like others but Rick's uses a softer, more pliable substance that should seal better.
