Traveling around the city on your scooter, you can easily stay away from those nasty traffic jams that take so much time from car drivers. Yet, you may face another problem – too loud noise coming from the exhaust system of your two-wheeler. The noise is unavoidable because of the combustion processes taking place in the engine, but you can reduce it considerably by installing a special insert or baffle. Supposed to be located inside the muffler, an insert will help silence the noise and make your ride far more comfortable. Also, you will be able to avoid a fine for breaking sound regulations if your locality has them.
Apart from special inserts, there are other ways to reduce exhaust noise. Repacking the muffler is one of the most efficient of them and is commonly applied by many riders. Should you select this way, you will need a repacking kit, and you will find a wide range of such products on our digital shelves along with spark arrestors also used to silence the noise. The last option, however, has a minimal effect. Whichever alternative you feel inclined to, you are likely to find it in our catalog of scooter exhaust baffles and inserts.
