You love taking your dirt bike or dual sport motorcycle for off-road adventures, which can be incredibly fun. But just imagine what will happen if some sharp rocks, logs, roots, or other sudden obstacles come in contact with unprotected critical parts of your machine. You have a very high chance of damaging your engine, oil pan, oil filter, water pump, radiator, or exhaust manifolds rendering your motorcycle inoperable. But there is a simple, effective, and inexpensive way of protecting your bike’s underbelly. We offer a huge assortment of motorcycle skid plates, case savers, engine guards and other means of crash protection that absorb impacts and can allow you to continue your trip or return home after a minor accident.
In our store, you can find a variety of motorcycle protection products, each of which shields different vital parts of your motorcycle. If you tend to go off-roading on your bike, we recommend to protect it with one of our skid plates. In case if you misjudge the terrain and hit some rocks or a log on your way, you can seriously damage an oil sump, oil filter, exposed wiring, or an exhaust system. If you are not far from home, it is just an inconvenience, but if you crash your bike far from civilization and cell phone service, you’re in big trouble.
A meticulously designed high-strength aluminum skid plate can provide full coverage for your bike’s underbelly starting from the exhaust system and ending with the swingarm pivot. All of our motorcycle skid plates are compatible with bike centerstands and allow for easy access to oil drain plugs so that users do not have to uninstall their protection during maintenance. Also, well-designed skid plates come with ventilation slits for cooling the exhaust system and engine. Drainage holes are drilled to get rid of water and mud that otherwise accumulate on plates low points. The installation process is very simple. In most cases, you just bolt your skid plate to the motorcycle frame.
Also, on our digital shelves, you can find an assortment of crash bars or engine guards. They perform the role of protecting the engine and other exposed parts of the bodywork not covered with a protective shield. Crash bars extend further up the sides of the motorcycle to take the beating in case of the bike falling on its side keeping radiator shrouds and side cases intact. Such a protective measure can easily allow you to avoid expensive repairs in case of a major or minor cosmetic damage. Premium-quality engine guards are made of durable, high-strength steel tubing and can be finished in chrome.
You can choose additional protection for engine case covers by installing a set of case savers. They allow you to minimize damage during minor crashes and give your bike a bold, stylish look. We offer case severs CNC machined from billet aluminum with a hard anodized finish for increased durability and strength. You can easily install them yourself in mere minutes without even removing fairings, engine covers, or gaskets. If you want to add strength to your frame, prevent its stretch, and protect your engine better, consider installing a frame cradle made of forged aluminum featuring brushed or powder coated finish.
