Link pipes connect the header to the muffler and are a great point for the upgrade as well, allowing the exhaust to flow more smoothly in considerable volumes. Both headers and pipes are produced utilizing strong and durable metals and their alloys that are able to handle extremely high temps and pressures. All too often, these metals are lighter than stock. Hard-wearing coatings may be applied to protect the metal underneath them while ensuring good looks.
