Product Details

High Performance Hydraulic Tappets (33-5352) by S&S Cycle®. Reduced valve train noise from start up to shut down.Close tolerances for low leak down rates; fast pump up and superior high-RPM performance. Low mass, bearing grade, silicone nitrate check ball and lighter check ball spring; enhances fast pump up and quiet operation. S&S® offers high performance tappets for 1984-'99 HD® Twin Cam 88® and Twin Cam 96® engines, 1986-'90 HD® Sportster®. These tappets are a great choice for any stock or high performance application. Only the finest materials and precision machining techniques are used in the manufacture of these lifters, and strict quality control insures that they will work flawlessly every time, no matter what the application. Whether you have a stock 88 incher or the most outrageous big inch engine with a radical cam and spring combination, S&S tappets are built to take it. Sold as a set of 4, HL2T kit not included.

Improved inner race-roller design allows use of more, and larger bearings to increase load-carrying surface area, further reducing stress and wear in the critical roller area. Redesigned plunger assembly better withstands forces associated with heavy-duty valve springs and cams typically used in high-performance applications. Revised metering device precisely controls oil delivery to top end, insuring rapid lifter pump-up and reducing possibility of oil starvation to bottom end. Each lifter body and plunger assembly is hand-fit and then pressure-tested to insure correct operation. Set of four, with HL2T limited travel kit.

Limited Warranty for EXHAUST SYSTEMS AND COMPONENTS

S&S Cycle, Inc. (the “Company”) warrants to the original purchaser that each new product manufactured and assembled by the Company will be free, under normal use and maintenance, from significant manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year, subject to the following exceptions, exclusions, obligations, and limitations. All warranty periods shall begin from the date of purchase by the original retail customer or date of installation, whichever comes first.

Limited Warranty for COMPLETE FACTORY-ASSEMBLED ENGINES

S&S Cycle, Inc. (the “Company”) warrants to the original purchaser that each new product manufactured and assembled by the Company will be free, under normal use and maintenance, from significant manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years (KN and T143 Engines one (1) year limited warranty), subject to the following exceptions, exclusions, obligations, and limitations. All warranty periods shall begin from the date of purchase by the original retail customer or one year from date of manufacture, whichever comes first.

Limited Warranty for STANDARD PARTS

S&S® Cycle, Incorporated (the “Company”) warrants these parts to be free from defects in material and workmanship. If the parts become defective during the warranty coverage period, the Company will, at its option, repair or replace any, or all, defective parts. Repair or replacement of defective parts is the sole and exclusive remedy. The warranty coverage remains in force for a period of twelve (12) months from the date that the original Consumer Purchaser buys the parts.

Electrical and electronic components are covered by a warranty duration of six (6) months. However, warranty coverage will automatically terminate if the original Purchaser sells or otherwise transfers all or any portion of the purchased parts.
