Tappet Guide Set by S&S Cycle®. These guides are now available on all S&S® engines and can be purchased separately to upgrade existing S&S® or stock Evolution-style engines. The perfect finishing touch for any stock or custom engines, these S&S tappet covers are CNC machined from billet aluminum. The CNC machining assures dimensional accuracy while the billet material provides extra strength and dimensional stability over a wide temperature range. Unlike cast aluminum, billet has no internal voids or impurities. There's no residual strain from thermal contraction or expansion means no cracking or changes in shape. These are simple to install upgrade that looks great. The tappet guides for special application cases have correct pushrod angles for 1/2" camchest offset. Kit contains guides, o-rings, and hardware.

Notes

2000 and later Sportster models use the same tappet as 1999-up big twin engines. However, these tappets will not fit the S&S tappet guides for 1991-'99 models

Limited Warranty for EXHAUST SYSTEMS AND COMPONENTS

S&S Cycle, Inc. (the “Company”) warrants to the original purchaser that each new product manufactured and assembled by the Company will be free, under normal use and maintenance, from significant manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year, subject to the following exceptions, exclusions, obligations, and limitations. All warranty periods shall begin from the date of purchase by the original retail customer or date of installation, whichever comes first.

Limited Warranty for COMPLETE FACTORY-ASSEMBLED ENGINES

S&S Cycle, Inc. (the “Company”) warrants to the original purchaser that each new product manufactured and assembled by the Company will be free, under normal use and maintenance, from significant manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years (KN and T143 Engines one (1) year limited warranty), subject to the following exceptions, exclusions, obligations, and limitations. All warranty periods shall begin from the date of purchase by the original retail customer or one year from date of manufacture, whichever comes first.

Some states and countries do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.

Limited Warranty for STANDARD PARTS

S&S® Cycle, Incorporated (the “Company”) warrants these parts to be free from defects in material and workmanship. If the parts become defective during the warranty coverage period, the Company will, at its option, repair or replace any, or all, defective parts. Repair or replacement of defective parts is the sole and exclusive remedy. The warranty coverage remains in force for a period of twelve (12) months from the date that the original Consumer Purchaser buys the parts.

Electrical and electronic components are covered by a warranty duration of six (6) months. However, warranty coverage will automatically terminate if the original Purchaser sells or otherwise transfers all or any portion of the purchased parts.
