Hot Shot Series CDI Box by Rick's Motorsport Electrics®. This Ricks Motorsport Electrics Hot Shot CDI box is made with heavy duty components; no specific enhancements. Hot Shot Series is the high performance product line from Rick's Motorsport Electrics. Products in this line include heavy duty rectifier/regulators, high-output stators, high-output charging kits, heavy duty ignition coils, and CDI Boxes. Hot Shot Series CDI Boxes offer a variety of performance upgrades, including heavy duty components, hotter spark, advanced curves, and allowing the quad to rev an additional 1000 RPMs over redline.

Ricks CDI Boc 95 TRX300FW
I'm happy. Around half the cost of the original Honda unit and in talking with Rick's Tech support I think this may be even more reliable. One thing did concern me and that was the sticker that said no warranty no returns. Rick's themselves will handle the one year warranty on this part. As far as performance, other that the option of going 1,000 RPM more than stock it feels just like the Honda part. It is potted like others but Rick's uses a softer, more pliable substance that should seal better.
